And now hes off married to Patricia Morrison and having kids with her.

Still a great live band - lots and lots of fun

My first proper gig was The Damned at the end of 2004 (blimey Embarassed)... seeing Captain Sensible dress as a schoolgirl, get a roadie to pour whiskey down his throat as he pretended to collapse on the stage, and then throw his underwear into the crowd as he flashed his arse.. and that was just inbetween the songs. Laughing
Wish I knew more of their songs then.. but even now I could only name about 7 or 8. Embarassed
I should really get around to listening to that 3CD "Neat Neat Neat" compilation I've got. Correction, I should really FIND it first. Laughing

God, I haven't listened to that since ... sometime in the late 80s! I think I sold all my Damned vinyl (for them was the days of vinyl) for beer & cigarette money back in '89. Of course in those days vinyl was called platters and turkeys were called walking birds...

@ Hexe - And who would blame you - he had a great image at that time. Circa 1983/1984 In fact their bassist at that time was from my home town - Bryn something.

I remember it being featured in an episode of Miami Vice in 1988. Then "Wasteland" was featured in the next one Smile

...and speaking of, MV was seriously a kick-ass show. I watched a mess of YooToob clips from assorted seasons last night, and the nostalgia threatened to pull me under. Someday, when I have $$$, I'm buying all of the DVDs. One of the most brilliantly-executed shows to ever hit TV, imho. We are not worthy!

Cheers Keef! Mr. Green

I have a text on an ancient brick of a phone of mine (literally, sent when I was about 16), which refers to that video Laughing

Dave was indeed very cute from that time...*drools and has nasty thoughts involving herself, Dave and someone else*. It wasn't me... It wasn't me...

True! If I remember correctly, that series was the one where Crockett had a laspe of memory and went off the rails for weeks, going round blowing up boats (and people no doubt).

And I seem to remember In Dulce Decorum cropping up later on in the series... We are not worthy!
