we're on the 'spacey' cluster so this affects us...
timezone-wise, the servers are on pacific standard time (PST)
PST = GMT-7
thus:
8pm friday evening on PST = 3am saturday morning GMT
i think 
note: "at most a minute or two of downtime"
those that are awake probably wont even notice, but i thought i better give a heads-up just in case
