Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....

I just don't get it right on my mind somehow... Tour Thing I, Tour Thing II, Vision Thing Tour ... Image ...
Is "Tour Thing II" just PART II of one and the same Tour Thing (I) Tour or is it another tour with that name? ... Image ...

And is only the European leg or the German leg called Vision Thing Tour (as on all the announcements)

or is all the tour of 1991 acutally the Vision Thing Tour ... :?: :?: :?: ...

Also, I've never seen any Tour Thing Logo, neither I nor II ... :? ...

Please, anybody shed some light on these irrations ...

Don't forget "Tune In, Turn On, Load Out" which included USA 2nd leg & festivals (incl. Reading)

so, 3 iterations of an overall "Vision Thing" tour (though was never actaully referred to as such):

Tour Thing I
Tour Thing II
Tune In, Turn On, Load Out

"Tune In, Turn On, Load Out" is no problem - a tour under it's own name ... ...

Dates & Names
http://db.tsom.org/tours/index.html - hhm ... ...

As to 1990
http://sisterswiki.org/File:Merciful_Re ... o_1990.jpg - Yes, though no word of "Tour Thing"

As to 1991
Portugal 1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Wed,_27-Feb-1991

Spain 1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_01-Mar-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_04-Mar-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_05-Mar-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_07-Mar-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_11-Mar-1991

US 1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_29-Mar-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Wed,_03-Apr-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_08-Apr-1991 - even saying "Tour Thing"
http://sisterswiki.org/Sat,_13-Apr-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_19-Apr-1991
also: http://sisterswiki.org/Tour_Thing_91

and back to Europe 1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_30-Apr-1991

then Germany 1991 - "Vision Thing Tour" everywhere
http://sisterswiki.org/Sun,_05-May-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_09-May-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_10-May-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_14-May-1991

and on to other parts of Europe
http://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_16-May-1991
http://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_21-May-1991

So, "Tour Thing" derives from "Vision Thing" and does count for 1990 and 1991 (German "Vision Thing Tour" included) until Karpfenberg.
Afterwards, there's "Tune In, Turn On, Load Out" including Reading and Winterthur.

RESULT:
Tour Thing I - 1990
Tour Thing II - 1991 - including German leg called Vision Thing Tour 1991
Tune In, Turn On, Load Out

:? ... only remaining question is for which part(s) of the tour / which gigs the Vision Thing Backstage Pass was actually used and for which the other one...

Reading wasn't a tour and the other one was added at the last minutish (certainly an afterhours thought anyway )

Yes. And I honestly think it's the same with many of the summer festivals following tours ... but I have to put them somewhere ...

Anyway, the Reading gig in 1991 was a very special one given the fact that half the Load Out Tour was cancelled ...
I think there is a special reference and bond to that tour. So even more it can be counted as a part of it. ... ...

Well, Winterthur ... yes ... Switzerland ... and the last one with Tony James ... another end.
