Now a slightly less nice bottle of malbec. Still nice. I won't care what the next bottle tastes like, but.

Re: Brexit?
It's not a very charitable regret to have, but I can't help thinking that there's an alternate reality in which the "Sliding Doors" moment involves Farage's family being briefly upset that he hasn't walked away from that plane crash, but by this point we're a much happier, more united, and less ridi...

Re: Merry Xmas
Happy Christmas and much love to one and all. Hope everyone has as good a time as is possible.
Slightly misjudged the size of pork pie that a tenner would get me from the local butcher, so looks like that's what I'm eating for the next week.
Take care everyone. X

Yeah, after being initially optimistic about next September I feel suddenly more despondent. Like OLDFART though, it would be the greatest treat ever for this pessimistic attitude to be proved wrong.

Re: NEW SONGS!
I can't be the only person who now looks at tour dates and thinks "I'll buy a ticket for the last one", as it might be the last one.. Cos there will be a last one. And then thinks about how the feck do |I get there? Which was Madrid (exciting|!) and is now Wroclaw... Oh yeah, we've decided we're go...

Also The Sisters were part of a question on Christmas University Challenge last night. Something along the lines of "Which city do the bands Soft Cell, The Sisters Of Mercy and Kaiser Chiefs come from?"
They got it wrong.

New date - 22.09.2021 which just happens to be a certain somebody's birthday.....you knew? oh well, just in case... :innocent:  We're defo going to Maastricht and Den Haag (if gigs are happening by then and if Europe hasn't smacked down our stupid petulant arse-hole little island) so if we ca...

Re: Now Sisters 2021
Must be so hard to book gigs with certainty at the moment though. These european dates have been put back from March 20, to September 20, to March 21, to September 21, and I guess there's no guarantee yet that gigs will even be possible by then. Let's hope so, though. My fingers are well and truly c...

I like how these sizes go on chest size, that way I buy XL to make room for my large barrel chest, and the size of my stomach is irrelevant.
