Re: My YouTube channel.

My YouTube channel.

During my lockdown/shielding period (still in place) i started playing my Bass again after not really touching it for 20 years or so! Put a few videos up for friends and family to view and quite like doing them. Thing is i want to improve them, not so much the playing(plenty of room for improvement ...

Re: Media player songs out of tune?

FMAMMY Yes it seems that some of the files I have on media player are slightly faster than they should be, not noticeable unless I play along to them! I don't know where I got the files from the original CD rips or vinyl using a cd recorder pre computer days. No problem now as I will just source son...

Media player songs out of tune?

Started playing bass again during lockdown and been putting few cover videos on YouTube ( Dozmeister if you interested). Thing is when I play along to some songs off windows media files I seem slightly out of tune (which I am not) yet if I play the same song on YouTube it's fine! Any ideas why?

Around 1990 i was guitar tech for a band that booked into Comforts Place studio in Oxford to record a single. On the wall there were the usual promo pics of various artists that had recorded there, one of which was a photo of Eldritch and Morrison. I asked what they did and was told only Andrew was ...

Yes I am pretty sure it is the Kid Jenson session version I am thinking of thanks for the help. I never think of using Youtube to search for audio only tunes, must get into the habit of doing so.

Which Heartland version?

Heartland came up on random play on me mp3 the other night, not heard it for years and realised again that I love that song. Question is years ago I had a version on tape that I preferred to the Temple version, all I can say is that it had a few 'beeps' or something before it started I guess it was ...

I take one Aspirin a day and will do for the rest of my life, (i have had a heart attack) I cant recall mention of this side effect. I do take a special type that does not damage the stomach if used for a long time maybe thats why.
Still you have my sympathy.

How did they afford to go to the USA?

I have always wondered how the Sisters early trips to the USA in 83/4 were funded? I would guess they were self financed in the pre WEA days and if so it must rate as quite an achievement for a relatively unknown 'indie' band to go to the states.
