Seeing as I was in London for Gene Loves Jezebel yesterday anyway, I stopped off at the Roundhouse and bought my tickets for both nights, so see you all there as well.

Just read that this was the first time since the RAH that Walk Away has been played live. If that's true, then I'm in a small set of people to see two consecutive live performances of a song 32 years apart. There's at least 2 as my mate was also at the RAH with me all those years ago.

You have to consider just how "near" Portsmouth it is. Given that Portsmouth is a naval base, it could have been subject to a few bombing raids in WWII & the church might have been hit if it was that close. Hung around the RAH after the gig and got autographs before they sped off. Got into the soundcheck at the Mish Electric Ballroom gig in Feb 86 and ended up playing football in the hall with a mixture of them and the crew before they emptied the hall prior to letting everyone back in.......
