This is actually amazing. I'm not even going to be there, and I'm still excited...

The version on the Floorshow EP is absolutely cracking. In fact the whole EP is a real Sisters highlight to me - punk energy meets brilliant tunes and some great lyrics. Such a quantum leap from Damage Done - some days I wonder whether The Sisters ever really bettered it.

So TSOM's monthly listeners have more than doubled, whereas The m*****n's have actually gone DOWN? Revenge is a dish...etc

Welcome to the forum! One of the main reasons I like the Sisters so much is that every time you think about Von's lyrics, you see something you haven't noticed before - that's true for all of us I suspect.

Very nice! I Was Wrong is sounding very nice. Not a song I ever thought really worked live, but that was great. Lots of tweaks to the sound that all seem to be working.

Have they changed the ending to Genevieve too? Maybe it was changed a while back, but anyway, it sounds great here

You're right, AE was obviously very pleased with that one...

It's just a really weak song, whoever does it. One of the weak points in the Sisters canon

On the Beach sounds cracking. The new songs are really bedding in nicely

1985 would have been very early to have been talking about climate change. "Run around in the radiation...run around in the acid rain" So maybe nuclear war, but no climate change reference there I don't think.

If that was true, then presumably Eyes of Caligula would be a celebration of Thatcher. It very definitely isn’t.

It’s been obvious since the early days that The Sisters are a) political, and b) left-wing. The Reptile House EP made that pretty clear, for example.

That looks fantastic. It makes me very happy / sad. What a day that would be, to walk into a record shop and buy that (I got into the Sisters immediately after Vision Thing was released - I've NEVER had the experience of getting my hands on a proper new album from them )
