Legend. She outshone everyone when she appeared in GoT more recently, even Charles Dance.

Re: Tower of Strength 2020

Probably a bit traitorous to say this (or perhaps not on this board) but of the half hour of TOS I got for £2.99 the original was still the best and, after said half an hour, I'd heard enough TOS to last me a wee while. But, hey, it's for a good cause with a pretty A-list line up so the boy done well.

Re: Eldritch and Morrissey?

Johnny Marr said some nice things about TSOM and Eldritch in his recent book and so did Chuck D. If a man is judged by the company he keeps I reckon you can also judge a musician by the words written about him by other musicians in autobiographies. And I' m not sure many people write nice things abo...

Yeah, I was gutted about this one. Weird for a musician who's done precisely bugger all for the last twenty years but perhaps that's the point. Anyway, Talk Talk never did a crap album and the last two were that thing we seem to have lost; music to sit and listen to rather than music to have on. The...

Quite often star quality has nothing to do with how many records you've sold or what movies you've appeared in and Peter Burns epitomised this.

I voted Corbyn and I'll continue to vote Labour for real because, even though I'm not convinced on his Prime Ministerial credentials, could he really be any worse than what we have now? Plus I think he'd get on with both Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping and that could be more important than getting on ...

You know what, if he had to go, and we all have to go, what a way to do it. Birthday, a really well received album, that's it I'm gone. The only thing missing was the puff of smoke and the sound effect.

I'm off to listen to Let's Dance again.

I must admit I could be a critic of JJ Abrams for exactly the things I liked about the movie. As with the Star Trek films, he filled TFA with numerous references to the original series. I personally liked that much more than in the Trek movies but there were points where I wouldn't have been surpris...

I thought it was great mostly because it was like the first films i.e. a not to be taken too seriously sci-fi film. Where these things go wrong is when the geeks build these things up to be like The Green Mile or Citizen Kane (insert your own worthy and important movie if you like). Star Wars is oft...

I watched it in 3-D but only because the Odeon at Stoke was cheap compared to everywhere else and I already had some 3-D specs. It was good in 3-D but it didn't feel essential.

very much looking forward to it, maybe even more than i was looking forward to phantom menace, simply because they cant possibly make the same mistake a 2nd -ok 4th- time, surely? :?
