Floodland album cover?

I had no strong objection to the cover artwork/photo on the Floodland album/CD, but it was quite unpopular from what I hear/heard.

Are The Sisters a left-wing political band?

To be frank, I'm much too aloof to concern myself with ordinary day-to-day political schitt, but are The Sisters a 'left wing' political band? This could and would be telling... the government has labelled us 'terrorists', but that's only coz we have more to lose than they do, due to their false ABN...

RE: First Pic (in Detroit) ... I always thought Andrew Eldritch was taking the mickey out of the other guys in this photo. What thinks you? Obviously an old, old topic, but I was doing some research on Ruth Polsky, a photographer amongst many other things, earlier today. That Detroit's Finest pic i...

"You can't trust Labour on defence" - John Major - although I don't know the last time an 'invasion' of Britain occurred, except on occasions when politicians allowed Muslims into Britain or had to accept the reverse flow of people from nations who Britain forcibly placed its flag on. You can't trus...

Getty f**ked the entire industry, and it continues to do so. Formerly owned by the oil-rich Getty family (who couldn't find a new owner for Getty Images for frigging ages,) they totally farked everyone when they bought out (and shut down) Bill Gates' Corbis Images. Nothing less than a truly mortal b...

How long can the Sisters continue... ?

I don't have huge amounts of time to contemplate what happens in the Sisters scene, but tonight I discovered a recent online TSOM interview regarding the Trump election and a possible new TSOM album if Trump indeed gains office. So, what's going on? ... and sorry if this topic has been discussed bef...

Yeah, while means until. I don't know of anyone who's good at interpreting AE lyrics, but I always thought the song was about a guy working in a crap, dead-end job nine while nine and getting nowhere, delusionally believing that one day such a way of life to would lead to success. I routinely worked...

Those comments scratched into the 'dead wax' ring on vinyl

Vinyl Sisters records had comments scratched into the 'dead wax' outro area near the label and center hole of the LP. One said 'Rise and Reverberate' and another said something about 'Spiggy the cat'. Who scratches that stuff onto the vinyl? Is it done automatically or by hand?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but according to the Pateo website from the Netherlands, Andrew Eldritch actually passed away in 2013. David Bowie's death, according to Johan Oldenkemap, owner of the Pateo website - http://www.pateo.nl/HTML/EN/PateoPedia/Individuals.htm#David_Bowie - was also s...

I will put some onto my news-wire service next week for purchase/download. Hi-res. Contact me then... via PM... but remember that many of the Sisters pix you see floating around were shot for editorial/webpage uses in mind. I probably wouldn't try enlarging those above an A3 size in most cases.

Too much amphetemines I think :von: Just enough to manage doing the gig at all, rather, I guess ... :innocent: . according to my friend who was eldritch's bodyguard at the time he was quite f**ked up and in pain. his ribs were cracked, heavily bruised, and he had to be strapped up with bandages. it...

I heard he had cracked (or broken) ribs.
I have no facts, just stories that I heard.
Was it an accident while 'lugging' stuff?
Or... the jealous boyfriend of a groupie?

So what were Eldritch's injuries?
Cracked Ribs? Bruised.. Broken?
Did AE's movements seem stiff?
It must've been tough for Andy?
