Am I right in thinking that the recipe for Long Island Ice Tea is "all the booze you can find with a dash of cola"? Served with an umbrella and a straw Wot, no maraschino cherry!? TF is wrong with you people! I expect a cherry, slice of pineapple, and a slice of orange if I'm ordering a cockt...

I assume that all factions within the complete le FUCT maintain a hard line on the subject of iced tea (unless it's of the Long Island variety, which doesn't taste great, but serves a purpose) Guidance in dining with the miscreants who drink the non-alcoholic variety in the presence of others would...

And how does FUCT view herbal tea? (and as an American i pronounce it "erbal" tea.) The tea-v-herbal infusion debate could and indeed does fill multiple volumes in the FUCT archives, ranging from 1793 schism that resulted in the short-lived Franco-Belgian Treaté Internationale des Tisanes (or TITs...

Being a Cheshire lad myself I take no side in these Yorkshire v Lancashire trivialities. "Trivialities"?! They may seem trivial to you, laddy, but it's well known that the denizens of the Slough Of Despond gaze with envious eyes at Yorkshire tea-making prowess and would stop at nothing to pos...

Some of our tea bags have been misbehaving.

It seems that Yorkshire tea-bags are so rock that the tea wants to get out of the bag to deliver a good kicking to the miscreants who attempt to put the milk in before removing the bag (or something. tl;dr)

I was about to ask whether he'd been at the Ambien, but...like the old ad used to ask, "Is it live, or is it Memorex?", perhaps in Mr. Murphy's case the question might be "Was it meth, or was it meths?"

Ok, :von:, here's the deal: next time you tour, I am willing to donate 1000 pounds to the charity of your choice, be it Miss Gently's Home For Slightly Bewildered Cats or the Goth Rehabilitation Alliance, if you agree to perform your soul-searing rendition of Dolly Parton's Jolene but substitute the...

Oh and "Grilled cheese"? Give your head a wobble, it's cheese on toast. Word! :notworthy: :notworthy: Cheese on toast suggests an open-type affair, one slice toast covered in melted cheese. Grilled cheese suggests where bread is present in both the superior and inferior positions, and is therefore ...

There's a fine spirited discussion going on BTL in Teh Graun regarding what is (and more importantly, what isn't) tea, prompted by Benny "Pengling" Cucumbersandwich asserting that chamomile tea isn't. Some good biscuit-related commentary therein, of you felt like a shufti.

I'm alongside the idea that expanding the teaching of history in schools to include people who were not white is a good thing - for one, it fosters inclusion (telling kids in Brixton that history was made as much by people who looked like them as by people like Palmerston, Gladstone, and Disraeli), ...
