Re: Chaos on the airlines

I hate this. I know damn well that this is all because of the Blair government's foreign policy but did these fückers not see the anti-war marches? Killing people in protest against a war we didn't want either? What's that all about? Yeah, didn't they see a million of you taking to the streets thr...

If it had been one of the last ten or so "new" tunes, everyone would have loved it. People also hated the '90 album/sound/concerts, which were all better by miles than the current songs/lineup/gigs.

That would be "the obvious 5/11-'72 references (:o)", to begin with.

Coincidence; I listened to "Hassan I Sahba" 30 minutes ago. Excellent song.

Since us non-Catholics are hellbound anyway, you'd think they'd cut us some slack.

Surely the top priority for Russia, China and North Korea over the next decades will be to invade the U.K. Only the threat of nuclear annihilation can stop them.

I'll just add my €0.02 to this. I went to the Malmoe concert and quite enjoyed myself, despite the rather abysmal sound and the barrage of "new", tedious songs during the middle of the set, as it was fun to hear all my favourite songs in a live setting. It didn't really whet my appetite for more, ...

I've got a FALAA test pressing. White labels with a huge '1' and '2' on, respectively. Run-out groove inscription is "Tune In, Turn On, Burn Out" followed by something in Italian (?). Someone probably has this info more easily available anyway.

I'm pretty sure copyright protects recorded as well as live stuff. The loophole you're refering to was precisely the reason why so many bootleg companies were allowed to blossom in the late 80s-early 90s : you didn't have the right to sneak a recording device into a venue, but then if you succeeded...

I'm still not convinced. Copyright exists in recording, not performances. Another example: if a sneak a camera inside a venue, against the explicit rules, and take a few snaps, I will be the copyright holder of these. Is this illegal? Is taping shows off the radio illegal? Is it illegal to record my...

I'm a man of contradiction and I know that. Bootlegging is illegal, I know it is and I think it sucks. (it being illegal, not bootlegging, thank God) You're a man of bad information. Bootlegging is not illegal, or it would be illegal even when bands like Metallica allow people to tape their shows. ...
