The risk isn't that big indeed, just heard/read it's highly unlikely for a H5-type virus to mutate into a human virus. All flu virusses over the last decades (could be even century, not really sure) have been H1-type virusses... Your bottomline is correct, but I think nothing wrong with informing/p...

The vaccine isn't 'limited', it can't exist until we know what we need to vaccinate against. At the moment there is no virus present in birds which can be transmitted from human to human. Until that happens there can be no vaccination. There can also be no human epidemic. Which bits of Europe do you...

So this vicious killer infection has so far claimed the lives of half the 120 people who have contracted it. That's 60 people. In SE Asia, a famously sparsely populated area where practically nobody actually lives  All of these non-existent people live far from any livestock as well when you t...

So how many of you have put down Heartland on the 'Where did you hear about us?' option? Poor Quiffy will be getting a visit from some sinister men within the week. I was hoping for some NATO furry dice for my amoured car but they must have sold out. Sweetheart, there is a vacancy in my diary that you're always welcome to fill. But I'd hate to steal you from the rest of your family. I'd feel responsible, and that's never comfortable for me.

It's not all that bad, to be fair to it. Haven't listened to it for a while; quite enjoyed the remixes of Trees Come Down and Darkcell.

That's because the Nephs don't recognise it as an album. The band released a statement after it appeared distancing themselves from it and urging 'real fans' not to buy second rate material. Is there any possibility that any of the lables TSOM have fallen out with might have a collection of off-cuts...

Nirvana - can I interest anyone in Cold-Blooded Animal - China's leading out-there rock whiners par excellence? They're not quite as bad as they sound, possibly because they sing in Chinese and I can't be bothered to read the translated lyrics. Silver Ash are more fun though, in a wholly artificial ...

The gap between left and right has all but disappeared, and the choice of leaders is little more than a beauty contest for ugly suits. could it not be argued that with so little difference between the parties the choice of leader is actually more important. surely y...

genuine question: do family allegiances like this still matter to people? obviously it has an influence but does it lessen with time? is it (as it seems to me to be) a much stronger factor on "the left" (for want of a better term)? is it a class thing? does class still matter in british politics? what is a faith school? CoE schools, Catholic schools, Muslim schools, Jewish schools, Sikh schools. Thanks for that. I'll try to avoid asking questions with literal answers. What practical difference does it make to the education they provide. Last time I checked, an act of worship was required by...

Surely a driver should stay in the inside lane at all times, except when overtaking a slower vehicle while remaining within the speed limits. I seem to recall that in my highway code, anyway. To argue that you're always changing lane is a red herring - lane discipline and speed are only tangentally...
