The Return of Hammer...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Do you think they will keep the false moustaches & dodgy accents?
Cheers.

Oh Steve, you really had my hopes up there for a moment

Dare I venture to say, I'm sure they can't touch the originals :innocent:

The accents & wigs & stuff were some of the essential ingredients don't you think?
The originals were so unbelievably camp & melodramatic they were unmissable.
Okay, so I've only seen the trailer of this new one & it looks okay (but then don't all trailers?).
I'm scared of the mini------BMW new mini syndrome.
Would still like to see the whole thing though.
Might be camp as fcuk, you never know.
Cheers.

It's hyped up by MySpace.. so it will probably just be another high-budget "good" movie, rather than no-budget trash which I want. :(

So long as they keep the heaving bosoms and the bats-on-strings then it's fine by me :D

Do you mean that you don't mind the bats going "Eeee eeee eeee!" in a very unbatlike manner or that you're happy to lose the bats?

Oh, now I understand - silly me...
