Let's play a game!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Now there's nothing I like better than a good bit of music trivia. No footnote of popular music is too anorakky for me, no rock family tree fails to fascinate

So I thought what an hilarious idea it might be to play "Guess The Tenuous Musical Link" on HL. I sometimes do it in my own mind when I'm waiting for a bus and there's no nearby paint drying... but why keep such pleasures to myself? :D

Example - I put forward two individuals - let us say Blixa Bargeld and Billy Bragg. Your job is to correctly connect the two...
in this case Billy Bragg wrote "A New England" which Kirsty MaColl sang,
Kirsty MaColl sang Fairytale of New York with the Pogues,
Shane MacGowan duetted with Nick Cave,
and Nick and Blixa had buttsecks in the Bad Seeds.

Do you see?
Is anyone else enough of a trainspotter to take me up on this challenge?
Your go! ;D

Cocaine?
The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

To make it a little easier - no less than two steps, no more than four, ok? :D Otherwise we can connect everyone to Hitler.

Or does it have to be the exact number of jumps (might make it more interesting)?
