The all new 'Who's Going Where and When' thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Got (by my standards) a busy few weeks:
The Undertones
Sigur Ros
, and
Stormzy

all in Auckland, NZ.

I also see that Ministry are playing here in September - anyone got an opinion on whether they're worth seeing these days?

I saw them in San Francisco in.... 2015, I think. They were LOUD and had a lot of energy. I wasn't alone (I know...stupid rookie mistake) and my date wanted to leave early so we did. I'd go again but I would t go out of my way to see them.

Just got a ticket for Nick Cave at the o2 London 30th September. It had sold out but they just released some more.

Very happy as I had been fully expecting to be royally ripped off nearer the time.

(edit) a friend has just called with a spare for Take That at the same venue tonight, and I've got nothing else planned   I'll be the one in the Sisters t-shirt.

Whilst The Undertones were very good, have to say (and I know that they don't get good reviews on HL) Sigur Ros were brilliant on Friday.
There were parts of it - last 20mins for example - that were, I'd have to say, amongst the best, if not THE best concert moments I've ever had (in 35 years of gig-going). Those last few songs were mind-meltingly good.
I also read a few reviews online since and it does seem to be a much-repeated sentiment.
