Today I have been mostly...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

funny that because although there hasnt been a single medical professional come out and call him a liar......there also hasn't been a single medical professional come out and validate his story. Yes - a complete and utter crock of fucking shite.

Been to the orthopaedist. MRT shows suspicion of rheumatism in my right hand wrist ... oh hell ... :urff: ...

Tomorrow they're gonna take some blood to check out in detail whether that is really the case... * hopefully NOT ...

Thank you, Steve. I guess I'll get the results next week. Can't believe it, though. And - of course - I just don't want it.

Following on from the recent bat adventure, I was telling my friend who owns my local watering hole the story last night when, right at that moment, a bat flew in the door!

Managed to catch it in a net & get it back outside :) :bat:
I think they're following me
Cheers.

Being a teacher assistant, tech support and lunch lady to my high school daughter while she had to do online classes today, then forgetting she was doing zoom classes and dropped a few expletives when my cats tripped me up as I walked down the hallway. Mom of the year here. Ready to get back to my regularly scheduled life

Eating chips & guacamole, again. A nice man gave me two bags of avocados last Friday and I have been trying to eat them before they go bad. I once thought I would be happy living on an island with lots of avocado and pineapple trees. I no longer feel that way.

Had a hole drilled in its head to thread a string through to attach it to a feathery stick thus

Now I can get them into hunting mode & tire them out. :)

@Pista oh nice :) I dropped some ponytail hair bands on the floor by accident and mine decided it was something to play with. Either my cats are easy to entertain or they’re total doofuses (both actually). You almost sounded like you were going to do a rhyme for a second, “had a hole drilled in its head, to thread a string to a feathery thing, to shred”. I need to get back to work lol, thanks for sharing

Today I have had my annual review at work. The lead-up always feels like waiting outside the headmaster's office for a bollocking, but in actual fact the meeting itself ended up being quite positive. In fact my manager was a lot more focussed on what my employer can do to facilitate me working from home rather than any critique of my efforts.

That's great news, Marky xx
There was a move to scrap performance management stuff as it's never really worked for teachers. After last term, we really don't need any s**t coming our way.

Today I have been mostly listening to important people talking about their vision for the future of our corporation.

If I’m honest, it makes me very nervous.

It has NOT been a great day. 😒
