seriously thinking about this with Mrs Smurf, will fit in with the wedding anniversary-ROMANCE IS NOT DEAD.....!!!! Any advise about hotels for a few days would be greatly appreciated.

Considering Krakow is well know tourist destination you wont have special problems to find anything which suits your budget.
I'm thinking to have make both Polish gigs and finish with one German (Stuttgart or Munich)
Never been in city of Mercedes Benz before I have to admit but already seen TSOM twice in Bavaria

This one was a belter. Yes same set as Wroclaw except WYDSM dropped in favour of Crash & Burn. No complaints here. The set felt a little more balanced as result. Really good sound in there. The atrocity that was the gig they played here over a decade ago was quickly forgotten.
