Jonathan is in SA and apps us yesterday that Sisters are playing in Paradiso and will try and get tickets! i am at work so only see this later, so app Utrecht is better. Sedean my daughter says don't bother for me i don't like their music.
today Jonathan phones waking me up with i have bought four tickets LOL for Paradiso!
so put me down plus 3 still don't know who the fourth ticket will be.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I seem to have just purchased a ticket for this one too. Seemed a bit silly to fly over only for Utrecht :lol:

Hi everyone, i trust we are all safe and well ?

New member of the board, been a fan since 1987, never seen them live before, but i have a ticket for this gig and as i am flying solo thought i would see if anyone fancied meeting up maybe before the gig for a drink/smoke, no worries if not, I'm in my 50's former soldier use a stick to get around i am slow but i get there in the end, been told i have a great if dark sense of humor :bat:

Just finally booked flight and hotel so hello, welcome, see you there.

Haven't been to Paradiso before so hoping for one of the local HL crew to suggest a drinks venue

Thanks for the welcome, very kind, there is a metal/rock bar not far from paradiso called 'The Cave' https://www.thecaveamsterdam.nl/ 5min walk/stumble/hobble (in my case) looks good though never been in before, could be a good point for meeting perhaps ?

Eek....I've never been abroad to see a band. In fact, I haven't flown at all for about 30 years!!
But here I am at Glasgow Airport, awaiting my flight to Amsterdam
Excited? Me?

yeah her first time seeing them actually both kids first time. i never thought going to a sisters gig would be a family event on a school night but tonight it is and i can drink cause i am off for 3 days and will probably need a few for tonight's gig! :lol:
