Also on the main board, but just in case, this one has been and gone but still seems worth sharing

Love the message Von has written on it:
"Dear Steve. This record is completely unarguable: take it on its own terms, bearing in mind that it doesn't give a damn whether you like it or not. The mix is obtuse, the pace relentlessly, unyieldingly slow. The last track especially promises something to hold on to, and then proceeds to recede away before the reprise of track 1 puts you right back where you started - the door of The Reptile House had swung shut behind you again. Welcome."
Burning 'cross the breeze.

A copy of Postcards from Above the Chemist has just sold for £227!

I bought my copy way back when it was published and would never sell it, but never in a million years thought a copy would sell for that price

I have seen The Sisters at The Paradiso. I will die happy
With massive thanks to Ruffers for his company and help.

Hard to say where they were taken; there's not much identifiable in the background

Also "Silver Gelatin Darkroom Photos" - are just standard black-and-white photos

... ... indeed. At least, they seem to be hand proofs made by the original photographer and no machine prints ...
If I knew the date I could upload them to the wiki ... and there is stamped 5 May on the back ... hhm.

Like Fiendy says there's nothing in the background that shouts Refectory of vintage 1984. I was at that gig but for the life of me cannot recall clothing worn

Does the YEP, Leeds Other Paper or Leeds Student have contemporary pictures from reviews?
