Killing Miranda

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

the resident dj played their version of anaconda last night. utterly pointless as it brings nothing new to the song.

i countered with izzy's drum n bass "mashup" version of burn  get in! ;D :notworthy:

To be honest old son I've had not much time on my hands between counting in the drug money from our new 10K + selling album and having my already bloated ego blown up still further by the european press showering accolades on us like some crack fulled new york ticker tape parade.

I saw Killing MyPanda by accident a while back supporting the excellent Paradise Lost. I remember little about their set, but remember thinking their singer would suit Stars In Their Eyes saying '...tonight Matthew, i'm going to be Meatloaf...' :innocent:

Out of curiosity i have since 'obtained' a copy of their new album. Having listened to it, i am yet to justify the cost of a blank CD to burn it. :von:

Hello Rob

Will we be seeing Rhombus on the european tour circuit this summer then ? Or will you be bothering the Deutsche Alternative Charts alongside our new album anytime soon ?

Or will you still be looking like a jealous c**t then ?

I expect I'll get told off for wasting my time arguing with goth bands again. Christ. We cover a song by eldritch and now I think I'm getting to think like him...;)

Killing MyPanda?!?!?!?

I've occasionally heard that 'Discotheque....something or other' played at the Batcave in NYC. It's totally goofy, but I dance to it anyway.

discotheque necronomicon? in fairness, that and the recent cover of anaconda are the only KM songs i've heard (that i know of).

i understand they're playing leeds shortly so i may double check the dates and try and pop along - at least then i will have a more informed opinion... i'm not entirely convinced they will be my cup of tea, but i like to think can still tell the difference between a good band and a bad band, regardless of their musical direction :|
