I mentioned this to Mike (EvilBastard) over a few pints recently...but due to:

a) love of The Sisters
b) need for life-affirming vacation
c) geeky fandom we all share (if we post here)
d) desire for bodily abuse

I've had crazy ideas about doing a short UK trip in early May to check out a few gigs in Blighty. The range of dates is roughly a week, but they're all over the place. While my UK-based friends may likely think I'm nuts, pathetic, sad, etc...given the fun, the fun, and the fun and genuine enjoyment I had seeing the band State-side, and meeting up with HLanders...I'm thinking maybe I might start looking for cheap airfare and such to do a quick storming of the country.

Oh, and this being perhaps their final tour ever (maybe, debatable, etc, etc)...why not? You live once, The Sisters tour last once, unless they tour again...but it's either more bootlegs, or some more shows and roadtrip, etc.

Anyone else insane enough for this idea? There's over a month away to plan...

No it's not.
There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.

Yes, do it Nick! If my trip to the States is anything to go by, you won't regret a minute of it. I'll be driving to all the UK dates, so if you need any lifts, I'm sure we can find the room.

:notworthy:
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.
