I was just wondering who played the solo in 92, before Adam Pearson arrived : was it Mr. Bruhn or Mr. Bricheno ? Whoever it was, he wasn't really up to the task, playing about half the notes of the original solo. I know it's hard to compete against Dave Gilmour, but still... The late-90s version was much better IMHO. 8)

Andreas Bruhn played the Comfortably Numb solo in 1992 and 1993 until he left.

best solo version i ever heard was on the "out in the dark" bootleg...
when :von: screams in the middle of it...

a lot of crowd noise during the entire gig untill the solo between CN and SKoS starts..

"what do you think about that??"
.....
no crowd noise
.....
"exactly!!"

just love that part..gives me goosebumps on how they shut the crowd up there... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
i don't sleep, so i don't dream, so i don't wake up frightened...
everything is what it seems, if you look hard enough tonight and see...

That's Go-Bang festival 92, IIRC. The vocals are alright but the guitar solo is far from impressive IMO.

Is the first one still available somewhere, for that matter? It would be a nice memento, as I was at that gig (and liked it, regardless of whatever crap the rock journos thought to have witnessed. 'Dear Doktor' is right).

You sure it's the right one? It's dated on May 11th when it's supposed to be April 22nd.

Dead sure. Pat must have got the date wrong (I'll PM him later). They played a very different setlist (at least according to Silver bullet tour standards) the second time around.

Aye, it had Still for starters...

According to my filing system it ought to be in the list as well (if I didn't mess it up ), otherwise just PM me and I'll get a new weed going

No worries kiddo's. The title of the weed is the right one. As said in the post it is the first Brussels gig. I put identifiers in the post before. Just edited the mentioned date in the post. :)
