a name for new Sisters' tour

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

A new era is upon us,

we will remember the time before the civil war as a time when we actually had stuff to talk about in Sisters chat,

now all thats gone,

the days of tumbleweed and turning on ourselves are here

whimpering why :von: :?: ...........why have you forsaken us ? ?

deep in our hearts we will know why......

I can't suggest a name for the 2007 tour but judging by the number of dodgy festivals they're 'headlining' and the dodgy bands they're playing second (or even third) fiddle to on other festivals, might I suggest that the 2008 (and subsequent tours) will be entitled:

Sisters Bite The Red Coat Butlins

I wonder what the setlist might be....

Well, in the light of (the great and still rather ruggedly handsome) Mr E's love of watery metaphor and much talked about conversion to a diet high in nutritious oily fish ...

Gimme Shellfish
No Time Small Fry
Between a rock(pool) and a hard plaice
Amphetamine Froglet
Some Kind of Angler
You Cod be the One
Salmon-Storm
Fishin' Thing
Somefin Fast
I Was Wrong (... to have the trout)

Encore (if you can stand it)
from 'A Slight Case of Overfishing' - Body and Sole

and 'Nine While Nine' (my fav Sisters' tuna)

LOVE the Sisters love FISH x X x
