Virgin Prunes

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi!
I'm Ilaria, I'm Italian, are there any Italians in this forum? I don't speak English very well, excuse me for my errors (?)...I'd like to hear news of Virgin Prunes... :D

Hi there. :D

A few Italians around, but your English seems quite good to me.

VP were a great band, indeed. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Thanks!
I have known Sisters Of Mercy since 2006, but I don't have much informations about them... :( I like Virgin Prunes too, they are very primitive and spontaneous. I've listened "If I Die, I Die" for now. Good! (I've got all the discography, because I've used Emule... )

Never heard the VP's myself but I've heard of The Sisters Of Mercy - apparently they used to be an Industrial Groove Machine...

Welcome anyway. :D

My favourite group is Bauhaus however. I like Diaframma, CCCP, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Alien Sex Fiend, Le Vene Di Lucretia, Psychedelic Furs, lou Reed, Brian Eno, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Muse, Lacrimosa, Mars Volta, At The Drive-in, Placebo and other groups. But I've got a superficial knowledge of the majority of "my" bands. Italian sites are scanty about informations.

Some of the Prunes stuff was OK - I'll confess to a soft spot for Nada.

Popoooo - if you like the Virgin Prunes, may I also suggest Sex Gang Children.

Nada was a pretty good album I haven´t listened to it in donkeys but their live shows far better. They weren´t even half as good a the original band though.
