Slightly depressed.... (CBPOB)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

....like it says as title.

Just a slow of hands if this is the situation please. If brave enough to state why maybe the depressed can lead the depressed..

Was the birthday of an old flame & someone I'll never stop caring about.
However, if we had stayed together we would have prolly killed each other.
Heard a song today that brought it all back.

Cheers.

Aww...Steve what can I say, the depressed leading the depressed...

Well at least you are still alive! :D
The memory thingy yeah hits in and it's at these moments when you should burn something of those memories just to have it dead. It might make you smile just slightly!

Hope you are feeling better now.

It's the job-hunting blues for me.

Tomorrows' interview gives me the chance to get my name on a third Civil Service reserve list when I do okay but not well enough to actually secure a vacancy.

A bizzare grey limbo-land somewhere in between success and failure ... although ... it's just failure really isn't it?

you know I am going for an interview myself, and although this is what I wanted, I feel so f**king down cause I would have to leave what I am used to again, to leave my family and just feel unsecure and worried. scared of the change. at the same time I am so much in vuv, I wanna go and be with him..I hate to feel down when I should be happy

I have been diagnosed as "clinically depressed" longer than I am able or care to remember. PM me if you REALLY want to know.

Other than that the continued decline of health of closest/best friend - who i do try my best to help - but some people are SO Pig Headed and the memorial of the birthday of another close friend who died in 2000 - i am NOT as depressed as I would expect to be - in other words

"Know Thy Self"

I keep taking the tablets - but i feel they has stopped working.

Anyone and I mean ANYONE want to chat about feeling deprssed only need PM me - I am happy (Oh how ironic) to help if I can

Pista - I can't tell you what these feelings are for or what use they are ... but they do demonstrate that you're capable of an uncommon depth of feeling and sensitivity. Don't give up keeping an eye out for the person who is right for you and who will appreciate these fine qualities.

SINsister - Thank you!

sziamiau - I wish you the very best of luck with your interview. New beginnings are always scarey, but your family will always be there for you. I hope it all works out how you want it to.

Dark and Bartek - Good luck with your exams. I hope all your hard work pays off for you!

Andy TG - I hugely appreciate knowing that there's someone understanding out there to talk to if I/we need you. This is presently only a 'mildly' depressed thread ... but if things do take a sharper downturn ... maybe expect some requests for counselling.

I seem to have become a counsellor for some of my colleagues in work. :urff:

In a way I'm flattered that they feel I'm someone they can talk to, but we kinda already have one of those and I do have other things to be doing as well.

Slightly depressed I s'pose that things are bad for folks.

hey thanks, I appreciate it. I have done moving continents before and you are right my family has always been there for me. I'm not an easy one. although it would just mean moving countries, it's still not easy. but anyhow I talked to my sis, and I feel better. I'll go and do my best and it's just one interview anyhow, and we will make the best decisions we can

Not really depressed, just extremely peeved by allergies.

Last year next to zero hay-fever effects, so's I was hoping that after some 25-odd years I was finally clean, this year back in full force!

Even having some serious respiratory probs the last coppola days, it makes up for the comfort of last year I guess...

Ah, just for a while, I felt how nice it was to be allergy-free... :|

Is this the new incarnation of the P!ssed off thread?

Currently bloody upset by... Kerry's mum has two cats; one of them was attacked by a dog yesterday. Kerry's mum saw it, ran outside and physically dragged the dog off (getting herself bitten several times in the process...) -- the cat is in the veterinary hospital, still touch and go as to whether she'll survive, Kerry's Mum is in absolute pieces.

The dog's owner has offered to pay the vet's bill, at least.
