I have been trying to wrap my head around all the TSOM tours done through the years and I have stumble upon a few questions (alright a lot is more accurate). So I have been going through several sites trying to find all the names and first and last show of the tour. I think some of the tour names is more fan-made then band-made and I need to find out which are the correct ones.

Can anyone help me? I'm however pretty sure that 2007 to 2009 are correct, it's the early stuff that is driving me nuts! (Sorry about the crampness of the list but for some reason you are now allowed to use the TAB function in here  )

Did you also look at gigography on official site?I don't know if it differs from sisters wiki or not.

Yeah I have looked at it as well, but I can't find any information about tour names - or am I blind?

It's orange lettering on a red background-maybe a bit hard to see-tour names run along the right hand side of page.Let me know if you can't see them-I will be happy to make up a list for you.

Indeed :) After checking that site I got a few less question marks, but I'm however a bit confused about something. On the official website 7th of April to 6th of June 1984 is marked as a tour but no name? Could it be Armageddon?

I've checked the source code and two gigs in 1984 was probably cancelled, 10th May Newcastle and 20th May Exeter. Any more information about this? Are we sure they didn't take place? :)

...and I like the comment: "<!-- where/which the hell are the tourdates with the Furs? -->
"

This has come up somewhere before (I think I may have once started a thread asking the same question) but some names not mentioned on the official site were used at the time in adverts, posters, merchandise etc.

I have a Black October shirt and there were several ads for the Walk Away single also advertising tour dates under the Black October name.

I've seen the November '84 European tour named as Walk Away but I can't remember where.

Armageddon '85 appears on a poster for the Bremen gig on 10th May.

Most of the names from Overbombing onwards have appeared on t-shirts and sometimes on ads.

Note also that the official site only calls the 2009 tour Mechanised, whereas the merchandise (some/all?) had Mechanised Europe. And, according to the official site, the 1999, 2000 and 2006 tours were Sisters To The Planet Edge, Sisters Trip The Light Fantastic ("Light" singular, by the way) and Sisters Bite The Silver Bullet. Shirts for the latter had the full name on the back but just Silver Bullet on the front.

The site advertised the summer 2006 (or was it 2007) dates as "...and swerving into summer" but presumably this wasn't an actual tour name as it doesn't appear on the gigography.

I don't have one but apparently the 2002 shirts had Summer 2002 Europe on them. And none of my Tour Thing shirts from any of the legs have 1 0r 2 on them - they're all just Tour Thing.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.
