Hot Hot Hot (currently the weather is...)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I generally don't mind heat. I can go over 40 so long as it's good dry heat, but the humidity kills me every time.

Needs a good thunderstorm to clear the air.

Shining like thunder! Crying like rain! :notworthy:

Thank feck, it might blast away some of this humidity and let me get a decent night's kip.

the rain was bouncing of the ground today--can't wait till the o-zone is completely knackered so we get a great summer in Scotland for the next 50 years

Returning to the start of this thread, it's currently about 38C on the streets in Moscow. Personally, I'm appalled. I only moved here because they promised snow, bears and sexually accommodating maidens who would do anything at the sight of a UK passport.

Instead there's a law suit against the metro for breaking health and safety rules about temperatures around town and I'm showering every three hours. Our employers have even started dishing out free ice cream and put a swimming pool in the courtyard.

Still, one out of three of the original plan ain't been bad
