Currently Listening To...Imminent Sonic Destruction!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

A gig I sadly missed last year (I was at a Low gig that night), but thanx to the good friends at Nuclear Blast I can now enjoy this massive beardfest on the old turntable :D :notworthy:

Austra - "Feel it break". Also playing "Olympia" lots too.

Going to see them on Thursday night at Oval Space... won't make up for not going to Ireland but hopefully good all the same!

Sorry for the video link, but there is a tenuous link with TSOM here (at ~1'50")...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9mnfUge4U8

There are much better videos of Austra out there

Wish I was "currently listening to" that too. Sadly what I am mostly "currently hearing" is this :

The perils of having teenage daughters ! At least this boyband sound a bit like Blink 182 and anyone who wears an Anti-Nowhere League t-shirt - as one of them (don't ask me which one) often does - can't be all bad.

Natalya Mogilevskaya. Ukranian pop. Last.fm suggested her to me. Quite nice.

Good, shouty, old-school punk-goff. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

My own cassette rip. Even includes the tape getting chewed at one point for added nostalgia. :P
