The all new 'Who's Going Where and When' thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Ministry with Godflesh on Tuesday, at the husband's request.

Slightly frightened to be honest - broke a rib last time I saw Ministry - mind you it was 20 years ago (and I was older then!)

Would have loved to see The War On Drugs but ironically I shall be next door in the Rescue rooms seeing Hookworms. :P
Meet for a beer, pre gig?

The Harbinger Down premiere in L.A. on the 28th April. Will spend a week or so over there. Will be nice to finally meet Alec Gillis, Tom Woodruff Jr., Lance Henriksen (all of whom I've interviewed in the past) and who knows who else?

In about two weeks going to see Moonspell again...the new album is so great, they are killing it on stage. should listen to if you have a chance, the sisters influence is heard across and had lovely chat with Fernando about music and Von and the Sisters. Absolutely great. Afterwards heading back to the US, work for a week in Baltimore and then drive around a bit to Washington , Virginia beach, Richmond for nascar then back to NYC, and catching a Sixx a.m. show. This is as far as I can see for now

A friend of mine was there! Never heard of them before he mentioned them. I still think there are less revolting band names... ;)

Not sure which part the "really" refers to, but if you've bumped into a long-haired Irishman, that'd be the one.

I've just checked them out--love it!

The 'Oh really' was in reference to the fact your friend was there. Small world!

I didn't bump into him!

Glad you like it! :)

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I take it all back.

She was absolutely fucking stunning. 200 people but she still nailed it.

If I'm like her at 66-years old I'll be a very happy man. 8)

One of the nicest 'rock stars' I've ever met. A seriously nice lady. There may be photos involved once I work them out.

I remember one issue of Smash Hits, around the time of the release of Dominion, Eldritch was talking about his white suit and wanting to keep it in good condition because he was going to wear it to a party in Los Angeles next week. What an insanely distant, glamourous concern to have, I thought at the time, recalling this as I surreally prepare to go to a party in the same city next week though circumstances I could not possibly have anticipated then. This is not a message to my friends or to the public. It's a message to my younger self, circa '88. The only difference is that my suit will be black. Not his colour, you know.
