I remember seein' t'Levs play to a half empty tent at about 1am after t'Sisters at BexRock... they were the last band on but more of the "cool down" band than the headliners..

But this isn't 2002 and this isn't Switzerland...

The band rates are so high they couldn't pay a proper poster designer anymore...?

Yep. Festival posters all tend to look like a badly arranged tag cloud these days.
I glaze over trying to read them.
Cheers.

Shame this is the other end of the country, nice line-up. I particularly like the idea of Von and Mr Heaton having a good old gas somewhere backstage.

Looks tempting and I plan to have my camper van by then too.

Sold out now.

This is a message from the organisers about ticket resales, which might be useful if you were on the fence about going.

"TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT FOR BEAUTIFUL DAYS 2017!

Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets to the 15th Beautiful Days festival - we can’t wait to see you all at Escot Park in August!

As always though, we strongly advise you not to buy tickets from unofficial sources if you’ve missed out this year – particularly via social networks. Sadly not all posts and offers of tickets are genuine and we do not want people to fall victim to ticket scams. And to clarify - there are no etickets, they are all physical tickets for Beautiful Days and they will be posted out in mid July, we will let you know an exact date very soon but its likely to be around the 19 July

We have teamed up with Twickets to allow ticket holders who can no longer attend the festival to sell them on to other fans at no more than the price they originally paid. You can trade tickets securely through their service, with payment and delivery all agreed upfront. Twickets is a fan-to-fan ticket resale platform where the price of tickets is never more than the original face value http://beautifuldays.twickets.co.uk/

In the meantime, keep checking the festival website for all updates and news. Access and travel information can be found on the website along with FAQs www.beautifuldays.org "

Oh piddle - just as I was coming round to the idea of going. :( I'll keep a lookout on Twickets but if anyone knows of a spare ticket going, I'm interested...

Beautiful Days Festival Page wrote: Sunday night headliners are the festival founders Levellers who bring the weekend to a close

So that would be Sunday, 20th August ... http://www.beautifuldays.org/lineup/

But if we're to take the Beautiful Day's statement as gospel, it seems just about everyone is playing the Sunday.
Cheers.

So this lovely festival should have started by now ... ;D ...

While Mr Heaton & Ms Abbot headline the main stage today, and Therapy? play The Big Top,
The Sisters of Mercy may enjoy themselves a bit longer on the festival grounds among pirates,
mermaids, sailors, fish and crustaceans - until tomorrow ...

Fortunately, we all know that Andrew Eldritch loves fish, so the band should be in great mood by then ...  ...
