THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. September 7th saw The Sisters of Mercy @ F-Club, Leeds for one of their very first gigs ... :D ...
and more than 30 years later @ DOCKS, Hamburg last year ... :D ...


In addition, they were scheduled to play their first concert ever in Japan in 1998, but that undertaking did materialise only in 2011 ...

- the concert at La Riviera, Madrid, Spain during the Trip The Light Fantastic Tour

- and last year's wonderful concert at Trädgår'n, Gothenburg, Sweden

mention might also be made of the second cancelled Akasaka Blitz gig in Tokyo, Japan 1988

Did they play any new songs, or did Von say anything about a new album? Did YCBTT get an airing? Was there any new merch for sale? Think that covers all the usual questions. I trust Sabine will update the Wiki page. (belated happy birthday :D)

while the performance at Soundwave Revolution Festival, Melbourne, Australia in 2011 got cancelled and rescheduled to 2012 ...
