Quick (!?!) pint beforehand in the YardHouse over the road (https://www.yardhouse.com/locations/nv/ ... -linq/8353) or cheaper beers, a slightly longer walk to gig and the possibility of being shot at The Stage Door (https://stagedoorcasino.com) ?? Happy to take other suggestions ;)

If the venue's like the Brooklyn Bowl in London then this is going be a weird gig.

Probably don't need to wrap up quite so warm though.

Not been to the London one but have been to the Vegas one before. There's a large 'O2 Academies type' hall downstairs and a balcony up which is where the bowling lanes are (closed during shows). Decent acoustics. Should be good.

The live space in the London one is between the bar and the lanes, all downstairs. Makes the crowd space v narrow

The Yardhouse looks like a decent place to meet up. It has a beer garden and food :)

I’m catching up - Yardhouse; I will there. (I have a long, dull story about a yard house meeting pre-RFP preso in LA and hootie and the blowfish…I promise not to tell it 😄.)

I don’t see an SF thread, but I’ll keep looking. If anyone is staying in town Thursday, I offer my tour services, etc.

I've just bumped the SF thread. EPW has found us an After Show Party :)

First post in a very long time. I'll be there - will pop into the Yard House beforehand.

Wishing everyone an exceedingly tremendous night tonight :D :notworthy:
There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.

My immediate reactions: 1. Fantastic show with the girls in great form. 2. American audiences are awful.

So the current line-up appears to be something like this:

Ben Christo - lead vocals, lead guitars
Dylan Smith - rhythm and acoustic guitars, backing vocals
Andrew Eldritch - backing vocals, dancing
Dave Creffield - "play" button, clapping

I appreciate Ben carrying the band on his shoulders, but this is not what I would like to see.

But seriously, does Von have throat problems? Those aren't uncommon amongst singers after all - if he takes it easy for a few days and gargles and pops a few throat pastilles, it should get better

OK, thanks for the info ... maybe it's not the best day to play On The Beach to the US crowds ...

Anyway, here's another vid of This Corrosion ... :D ...
