I hadn't seen the Sissies since the (best forgotten) festival appearance in Lorca in 2007. Before that, Budapest a whole year before.
I guess they'd drifted off my radar for a while but I'd decided to come out of retirement for this tour, and straight away witnessed one of the best Sisters gigs I've seen in 10 years!
They've got rid of that rather dull "dum-dum-thud-thud" Intro thingy and reinstated Afterhours. Which is a good move.
'Arms' is very impressive - the best "new" song since Crash & Burn IMHO.
The new version of Floorshow is immense (much better than the 1993 attempts of it) and was a clear highlight.
Marian is also back in the set. Ace.
The sound was great. Much better than the Silver Bullet Tour.
The crowd were really up for it and it was nice to meet up with folk again after 2-3 years, some of whom are on here. You know who you are.
Yes it was the sec - next day in dresden it was one of the roadies so even if the sec is easy you'll never knowdinky daisy wrote:Caught? as in? By security? How weird is that, thanks to 'illegal' activities (filming, recording, sharing etc) the Sisters still have followers.
so you survived the taxi ride then?Doktor Gravlax wrote:Great night - my first Sisters gig since 93![]()
