Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
I have something in writing from the Devonshire Arms staff:
"Thanks for your Email!
There would be no problem in reserving a few tables for the 7th of May
and we willl gladly be a little lenient on the Dress code for your members, If anyone is planning on turning up after 7.30pm could you let them know that they should inform the doorstaff that they are a part of your group so as to avoid any confusion.
we will look forward to seeing you then!"
maybe we could ask them to play a few more The Sisters videos on that big screen to make it more "homely" ?
Well they're always lenient on a Sunday morning as far as I've experienced, when dropping by to meet people...
Then again my usual raving wear is kinda "alternative"
though I think the mad look in my eyes after 36 hours awake with serious pharmaceutical stimulation does tend to stop people from telling me off for what clothes I wear....
You can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug, especially when its waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye

/puts the spoon down/
I think we should prepare the list of all the people who are coming and give it to the bouncers, so there will be no problems for anybody to get in. Besides, I find the Dev staff (well... apart from the bouncers) very friendly and I think we will have a pleasant evening in there And it has late night licence (until 1am )

Isn't the www educational?
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.
I once found the whole of the Elder Eddas online. Just to say that if you're meant to be impregnable to any weapon and Loki offers your blind friend (or brother even? I can't remember) a dart made of mistletoe wood, duck.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Don't spoil the surprise ...
* has a quick tot up ... 16 mistletoe wood darts for the SE HL meet then ... *

Gottdammerung wrote:lol.. and its meant to be gotterdammerung...
damn my spelling!
Gosh, I must have subconsiously 'edited' my internet quote without realising it so as not to flag the mis-spelling up...
I know it as Götterdämmerung, although Gottdammerung still gets a few hits on google. Incidentally, anyone heard of this lot? I stumbled across their site while investigating the spelling options

there is Dead and Buried party on Friday night, haven't been there yet, but my friend recommended it to me a while ago.
so, BoF, if nobody wants to join us, do you fancy a so-called "girls night out?"?
