Good to hear you all had a ball.

Unfortunately, work prevented me from getting there at the last minute.

Keeping 'em crossed for next week though.
Cheers.

Great to see you all. Thanks to weebs for the hospitality. :notworthy:

The Sisters on good form, t-shirts a disappointment, company outstanding as always and cakes very nice. :innocent:

Great to see so many people, even Keef the doubter.

This corrosion on night 2...
:(
For me this was the only song missing off the set list at the first show.

Sounds like both nights went down a storm with the folks on here.

Were any smurfs sighted in leeds last night ?

Starting with "Kiss The Carpet" 10/10
Cup Cake Girls 10/10
Meeting faces old & new 10/10....natch
Cup Cake Girls 10/10

Got to give them top marks for starting with a great song, however, the volume was pathetic, they....Eldrich murdered the vocals for "The Gift that Shines", I'd heard a lot of good reports about the night before I was expecting a real surprise..............should've known better, half way through Flood I walked out in the huff..........again!!
I was at the bar alone........for about 5 minutes when it started to fill up, a steady stream of people, sometimes as many as 150, I counted them!
I tried to enjoy it, I really did!
Someone made a really good point last night about the Sisters having difficulty in projecting themselves beyond the front/mosh area, I agree, maybe time for smaller venues?, Ok it was busy but what's the point of only reaching 1/4 of your audience? a bar area should not be that busy during a sisters gig........it's the SISTERS........in Leeds!!.......anyway, I could go on, I wont.
Thanks to weebles, the Hom, Norm' for talking me into "Spam Valley" on the phone & Purple Light for keeping me company at the Bar!!

In total crash-out mode at Manc airport right now; my original plan of hanging around town for a few hours this morning/afternoon was scuppered by the simple unfortunate fact of being unbelievably wrecked!

I've about 10 videos of complete songs (and half of Rain from Heaven - my memory card was full!) from a mixture of each night to upload when I hit home. Those of you who have already seen the originals from Night 1 at Chateau Weebs will know the quality to expect. The rest of you will I believe be very pleasantly surprised. :D :D :D

Yowsa to everyone - that was fricking AWESOME. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Twas an enjoyable couple of evenings. Greets out to all the folk I met.

My only gripe was the ham-fisted dj'ess, but you can't have everything

I've lost my damn voice. Work today has been a barrel of (hoarse) laughs.

Reckon it's time Claire hung up her headphones, or laptop, or whatever she uses. A lot of dissatisfied punters.

Two highly enjoyable evenings - great to catch up with the usual suspects and to the boys and girls who leant a supporting shoulder/helping hand - much appreciated! :D
