played yesterday at Eldritch birthday party (unfortunately Andrew couldn't attend)

Image

due to some stupid circumstances the gig hadn't been recorded
among our songs we've also played Walk Away, Alice and Burn
far much better than previously
the sound was total crap, no monitors (i could hardly hear my voice)
recruited vocalist wasn't able to rehearse often, so it seems i'll continue singing myself
at least, i do it better now than few months ago
some pics here (click the pic)

Neat!
I'm at the myspace page right now...
Indeed, there's a lot of "The Cure" feel to it...but in a good way

Actually it reminded me of a Finnish post-punk band...can't remember the name right now. Poula...Puska...oh, I'll get to it.

Who's your Dr. Avalanche?

FL Studio 6 (exactly for idiots like me) with sounds from those famous Alesis HR-16, Oberheim DMX, Yamaxa RX5 and other
i hope to get the real Alesis one, for recording (album this summer)
and we've got a drummer outside the box, but he's not ready for gigs yet
thanks for bothering to listen to something

thanks for advising this band
i've found them in August and really enjoyed

some news from The Forced Oscillations
we've completed our line-up, finally getting the 2nd guitarist and drummer
15th November we've played the first full-live gig with no playback
and the original bassist quits to get succes in study, work, girls and beer
so we were lucky to find one more new guy
today's the rehearsal, so we'll know the result
in fact it is the new band now
btw drummer is 5-7 years older than others, neat guy, he previously played SonicYouth-ish post-punk and that "total reverb and delay" experimental rock
so he knows what to do
and that really encourages!

our MySpace profile is updated
http://myspace.com/theforcedoscillations
+ the recent gig at YouTube, full
and audio
you're welcome

the problems with voice are being fixed

As a homage to the Notchnoi Prospekt, The Forced Oscillations covered "Acids" - a revolutionary track, full of apocalyptic fear and industrial madness, literally. The hymn of a collapsing empire, after 20 years it has a value once again...

Sounds less like RAH 1985 than then in 2008.
