^^^those people p*ss me off, but i look at it like this:people who are True Fans wouln't do that, therefore these people are to be pitied as they dont have The Sisters in their lives in the wonderful enriching way we have. also, a lot of sisters fans aren't users of HL, dark circle etc and the whole internet is a hotbed of "selling shit to idiots" -you cant blame people for making a buck out of the stupid, just wish it wasnt at the expense of people here and elsewhere's efforts and goodwill.

This is also happening with The Cure recordings &, yep, Greece & Brazil are usually the sources of extraordinarily elaborate boxes & hand numbered home-cut vinyl efforts & it is certainly one factor in the sharp decline of more recent shows being shared outside the "uber rare swap only" brigade.

It is, though greek pressings in the 80s were realy nothing to write home about, ultra light vinyl and low sound quality,l but still the pressing of floodland was a decent one.

In a way, it's a fair price. They are acetates not mere testpressing ... ... should be interesting to get a grip on that tape mentioned in the text, though ...

http://www.ebay.de/itm/sisters-of-mercy ... true&rt=nc
If wanted, I have them on tape somewhere, cause it's not good to play acetates a lot :-)

Well, if the Greek can sell his 5thgen fakes at ridiculous prices and people run to buy them, why should really old originals not be more expensive ...
like cars, after 20 years they become oldtimers ... 8) ... and very expensive ...

Still, even a simple ticket stub went for £30,00 ...
