Newsworthy continued: EEEEEEEENINp'ts!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

If ever anyone's in doubt about North Korea, it's hard to beat this one: http://markhumphrys.com/Bitmaps/north.korea.night.3.jpg
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

why would anyone doubt about that's going on (based on photos and reports given by those who were lucky to get out of this countries)?
do we have strong lobby of conspiracy theories here?

I did once get into a bizarre argument with somebody who (1) was quite fully aware of it, and (2) thought it was fantastic - "look at all the happy workers in a socialist utopia", etc. I'm quite certain that this wasn't a case of Poe's Law at work too.

There are some mighty odd folks out there is all I can say...

Maybe it's time to uncouple the term "socialist" from what so-called socialist and communist leaders, who have risen from monotheist, fascist, monarchist or other imperialist traditions made of it, because it's a contradiction of the term itself which is maintained and steadily reiterated only for one reason - to counteract and devaluate any sort of non-capitalist, non-imperialst idea of society for the sake of those very monotheist, fascist, monarchist, capitalist or other hierarchic traditions which were based, are based and always will be based on the exploitation of the masses for the benefit of some clique of competing supremacists and their offspring ...

Indeed. If the North Korean regime can be classified as anything, it's an absolute divine monarchy (in the Pharaonic style) with the Kims as god-kings.

Yes, mh, i forgot about, it's the Net. thanks for reminding me about that.

if we want to be so precise, then in any country and never communism was major idea, it always was some kind of local version of socialism.
and fact that Kims family inherit the power it's just version of socialism, same thing happens with Castors in Cuba (or Aliyevs in Azerbaijan, but that slight different story).

and there was never 'clear' version of any political ideology or political system ever made. it's always a version.

I can't help but be reminded of the Brass Eye sketch about gays in the Navy, (I'm quoting from memory so I might get it a bit wrong...)

"Gays attract enemy radar. They can't swim. They attract sharks. They mess about. They always want to be seated at the captain's table... I could go on."

Wow. What an arsehole.
"It's a lot and I don't know anyone in this country that wants to see more abortions; in fact, I think most people would like to see less abortions," Senator Bernardi said.
And you know how to accomplish that Senator? Sex education and access to contraception. But I bet dollars to doughnuts you'd oppose that too, wouldn't you?

Cameron says 'TV crime dramas illustrated the value of monitoring mobile data'. Because pretending television drama is real is, of course, the best way to decide how to run a country.

Additionally, the government is considering employing slayers to fight the vampires emerging from the Hellmouth, which Mr Cameron considers to be a real and present danger, as endless repeats of Buffy have illustrated.

Personally I want to know what he's planning to do to stop the imminent threat of a Dalek invasion. Team up with UKIP to stop them?

Not exactly news, but not a joke and not sure to share it on it's own...
So, someone recorded a song out of a paint of Hieronymous Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights" and this is how it sounds after only 15-20 minutes of try
