Accomodation

I'm currently trying to sort out accomodation for the european shows using www.hostelworld.com, and have been successful for most cities, but a few cause problems. Can anybody - locals and non-locals - help with suggestions?

- Malmoe: nothing found in the city, besides expensive 4 to 5 stars.
- Gothenborg: similar problem

- Copenhagen: Enough choice, but I have difficulties choosing, cause I don't have a clue of the size of the city and where the venue is.

- Bielefeld: nothing found
- Berlin: Which area is best?

Thanks a lot in advance for any information and help, and let me know if I can return the favour regarding other cities (besides Amsterdam, which was hopeless)...

Hi Eva, if you don't hear from any Danes then maybe I can help as my wife is Danish and knows Vega well. Vega is close to the centre of Copenhagen, i presume you've checked the site for directions.

In general Copenhagians are more than happy to help visitors (spoken in better English than most English) and getting around Copenhagen / Denamrk is easy. The trains and buses tend to be regular and on time (something that is totally alien to a Londoner, even after 8 years of visiting).

You're welcome. That's a very impressive tour you're doing. Do you do this every tour?

I've followed them around in 2002, 2003 and 2005, but those tours weren't as big as this one.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing I can do now as I've got nothing better to do at the moment and am prepared to pay back debts afterwards...

I saw them about 4 times on a UK tour 1984 i think, i restrict myself to one show a tour now. Though i was considering the Copenhagen gig but we're not visiting Dk until the end of April now.
Have fun and it'd be great to hear some reviews / set lists.

p.s. Apparently I've been to Vega on a club nite and by all accounts I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!

Thanks for the links mugabe. To jump on the accommodation bandwagon, I'll also be doing most of the European tour and I have still to find somewhere to stay for most of the dates after Hamburg. I have some possibile places lined up for a few but I would rather stay where other fans are staying whenever possible. So any reccommendations for the below dates?

There is a youth hostel not too far away from the venue (not close enogh for walking from the hostel to the venue though). I slept there when I saw bauhaus in February:
