which bus company???

i was going to get an interrail pass - but that would work out cheaper only if i didnt use any buses or airplanes.

This should be a good concert. Sisters are the first major band to visit the 2nd largest city in Bosnia (over 200,000). Expect a lot of fans as well as people just being there for the event. It's a cool city with lots of trees, and there is a dramatic canyon nearby, just south of the city (although you wouldn't know it as it's pretty flat to the north of it). Check out http://www.bl.ac.yu/banjaluka/e/grad.html (and go to the photo gallery).

As far as getting back to Germany, it all depends on how much you're willing to pay.

You can catch a bus to Zagreb and fly from there to Germany. Zagreb is only 180km from Banja Luka (and it's only a 2 hour drive). Belgrade is about 330km (4 hours).

Or, there is definitely a direct bus service to Vienna, and some places in germany. Bus to Vienna takes about 8 hours. Visit www.eurolines.com. It's not the easiest site to navigate though.

Can't have been too bad, thankfully, if it could be rescheduled so quickly.

I'm so sorry for all the people who went there, especially those from far away. :?
But hey, it's a beautiful country, so I hope it's an OK trip anyway.

Let's be positive : only one gig canceled this year out of more than 60, and all that despite early surgery, some cracked ribs and a f**ked voice.
Not too bad. ;D :von:

And a crashed truck. And visits to some rather dangerous places. Not bad indeed.

Yesterday we were at Banja Luka and talk to some local guy there. The problem was that on 22nd to 24th there will be a big local festival in this castle. So there was an alternate place on the list (a sports hall) but it was rejected by the Sisters. What kind of alternative to a 400 year old castle located at the river...... now I can understand the circumstances. But nevertheless the promoter isnt very well informed... a freak
