Body Electric on the 1984 Body and Soul 12" (MR029T)

Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....

I used the search function but I couldn't find it.

Body Electric on the 1984 Body and Soul 12" (MR029T). What is it?

Is it exactly the same audio as on the 1982 CNT002 7"? Or is it a remix of the 1982 recording? Or is it a re-record of the 1982 recording? Or is it a remaster of the original 1982 audio? What is it exactly?

It's a re-recording. Presumably with Wayne on guitar.

IIRC it was recorded in a 16-track studio, whereas the 1982 recording was 8-track.

the art work of the album describes it clearly as being Body Electric 1982, but to be absolutely sure:

Is Body Electric on the Some Girls Wander lp the 1982 or the 1984 version?

Some Girls.. is all the material recorded before the Body And Soul single, so 82.

Which is a shame, because the 84 version is an utter stomper. 8)

nah, 84 is too tinny. the 82 is grindy and chuggy and all things fabulous ;)
