Fantastic! I've been looking for a reason to go back to Belfast, it's an underrated city.

Joining the choir...very special place, more like other previously split cities like Beirut, Sarajevo, or Berlin, and unlike anything else I've seen on "the isles".

Hi Robert,

The tickets will be on sale from 9am this Friday. They will cost £25 if purchased directly from the Students' Union, or £25 + booking fees from www.ticketmaster.ie or Ticketmaster outlets.

Regards,

Finally got my ticket despite Ticketmaster being utterly awful. I'm very excited about these two Irish gigs.

Tickets got - had no bother with Ticketmaster...!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yup, that'll do it, everytime! Must give them an address closer to town for the next one...

I'm in for Belfast (obviously!)
Can't wait - summer holidays for me, will be well ready for a dry ice fix!

Interesting choice of venue - its my Uni Students Union. I was in it about twice as an undergrad and mostly go to it for juggling club now.
Interested to see how sound and lighting turn out - I saw John Grant there a few weeks back, the sound was IMMENSE yet really crisp. Its pretty cosy - even standing at the back you'll be pretty up close and personal.

p.s Bar prices very cheap and lots of nifty eateries nearby. I recommend filthy mcnastys for pre drinkies - more expensive than the Union but quirky, great crowd, roof garden and often bbq in the summer!
Somebody tell me about the rhythm of the 4th floor.

The gig is n the student area so there's a choice of pubs and restaurants. I 'm not a club person so ain't sure about them I prefer the pubs in the Cathedral Quarter where the art galleries etc are located. But I imagine we'll all find one...
