Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

As much as you're trying to include yourself in a convo on the other side, you were never in my thoughts.

I'll close GW 15 then. Ta.

The draw for the FPL Cup was made today and the teams that didn't make the draw based on their GW17 performance(s) are as follows:

Industrial Groove Machine
Damage Dunfermline (Nikolas Vitus Lagartija), Tangerine Team (limur), Wilsden Reds (Planet Dave)

Eleven Imaginary Boys
Jupitercrash Blue (JupiterCrash), Deportivo Cult Hero (U2lemonman)

It looks like 45 was the cut-off point depending on OR.

For all the rest of you that have qualified, FPL Cup is played on a head-to-head (H2H) scoring system, i.e., most points wins. It's a one-off tie, and anybody can beat anybody, on any given day.

You'll find your opponent for GW18 on the right side-bar under "CUP."

Personally, I just ignore it. As my mentor, during my FPL infancy, once said to me: "Focus on your OR and everything else will drop into place." Wise words.

Though I did make the quarter-finals last season before being beaten by a ghost team.

Maybe it was the first time I'd actually paid attention all season. Maybe it was the lure of winning a Sinclair C5, and a pair of Stephen Hawking's football boots? I'll never know.

Anyway, I blew it. Took an 8pt-hit and the rest was history.

It's 20 rounds, yes 20! I don't monitor this but if anybody starts to get in the last 32 etc., do shout up.

I'm sure you'll be supported by both sides of the fence. :von:

GW22 thread now open :D

Spanking gloves are ready & road cones for goal posts this week, as the jumpers got a bit soggy in the snow & started to niff a bit.
