1987 seems a very long time ago; but what an album. Our fearless leader!

Eastmidswhizzkid: Most definitely!

I really enjoy writing to these two albums:

And would love some recommendations for more dark drones with no vocals. Guitar based, synth based, whatever. If anyone out there's into that sort of thing.

Glad you're liking it! Currently listening to:

Great record, lousy cover. Leroy Virgil Bowers is one hell of a songwriter. But really, I do not know what they were thinking with this cover...

I adored the first one. I found it quite terrifying tbh.
This one is a lot more like The Knife with more up tempo material, but seriously weird.
It's a grower for sure. Red Trails is superb

Pista & Sultan2075: She is completely f**king demented. Love it. Listened through the new album once and I like it. Have a feeling it'll grow on me.

that sent me on a full-on mad SATB session....i always omit the banshees when i try and pin down my top 5 bands (after the sisters natch) but they are such an enormous love they really do deserve a permanent place.

In my opinion, it's one of the greatest records ever made. I've not listened to it in years, but putting it on now, I am reminded of the fact that it is... one of the greatest records ever made.
