Reading Salad Daze had me remembering early 80's evenings, two doors up from The Fav, windows open, me and Ms Swinnow in our student gaff playing this.

We might have lead someone astray Laughing

Well, really just the one song so far, but I like it a lot more than anything on the second record, so color me very optimistic.

Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgi1pF64VJc

I'm probably really late to the party but Good Company by The Dead South is one of the most entertaining albums I have listened to in a very long time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9FzVhw8_bY

Their new single Diamond Ring is good as well. Bizarrely amongst other things I've seen them tagged as "Goth Country" so I immediately imagined the Nephs covering them and it made me laugh Laughing

Now singing "G*th Country" instead of "Big Country".

I'd better go burn my stupid g*th hat....

the definitive banshees line-up. proof for those who dont do The Easy Cure that ol' fat bob can wield an axe better than an Elizabethan Royal families human resources officer.

I agree. Fat Bob is a phenomenal guitar player, who doesn’t get nearly the respect he deserves in that regard.

Fields of the Nephilim, Brixton Academy, 1990. Great sound on this.

Heard Rob Miller has gone mad and by proxy denying The Holocause/WWII Concentration Camps by thanking an author regarding this on the latest album?

Yep. He went completely insane, and then doubled down on it in a series of bizarre defenses. The band is done, the record is not coming out, and I think Relapse have pulled the earlier albums from streaming, etc.

Oh dear, what happened there then? I've been busy recommending them to friends. Hope it doesn't make me look like a c**t Mr. Green
