Oh ye gods how I lurve these German goatees Very Happy
Starting as a grindcore/partyband, it soon was discovered they are waaay to good to be 'just an underground band'...

So they started covering some ehm... not-so-underground bands.

Be warned.

Maybe this should go in the "Inaugural Heartland Metal" thread instead Laughing

Honestly, in my opinion, this is more interesting than all the goth bands covering Sisters. Even though I can rarely stand grindcore except for Warsore. Around 2:30 it got unbareably bad though.

Tongue in cheek fun. Clicked on their cover of Alphaville's Big in Japan which was even more of a riot - with the music video synced up lololol!

Actually more interesting than other covers. I was sceptic about clicking the link but i did and liked it more than expected. At about 2:27 and for about 10-12 sec becomes a little mainstream but they come on the right tracke pretty fast Cool

They have a full cd of coversongs titled "Covered In Milk" Smile

I saw them live a couple of weeks ago, and was impressed by their skills and... welll... variety of sound. They are mainly grindcore/gore-porngrind but they play a mean heavy metalriff as well.

For those with Spotify, here's the full CD! Alas, no YouTube linky was found, tho you can find the separate songs there as well...

Full tracklist:

Ma Baker [Originally Performed by Boney M]
Hymn [Originally Performed by Ultravox]
Bad Case of Loving You [Originally Performed by Robert Palmer]
Ohne Krimi Geht die Mimi Nie ins Bett [Originally Performed by Bill Ramsey]
Hip to Be Square [Originally Performed by Huey Lewis & the News]
Temple of Love [Originally Performed by Sisters of Mercy]
Rebel Yell [Originally Performed by Billy Idol]
Gimme All Your Lovin' [Originally Performed by ZZ Top]
Major Tom [Originally Performed by Peter Schilling]
Don't Say Motherfucker [Originally Performed by Turbonegro]
Big in Japan [Originally Performed by Alphaville]
When I Come Around [Originally Performed by Green Day]
Wake Me Up [Originally Performed by Aloe Blacc]

Mr Irish Bastard's cover of Temple sits on the same higher plain of existence as The Sisters' version of Gimme Shelter. This Goatmachine number is a bit noisy eh? Love their band logo though, there's no way on earth that says Milking The Goatmachine Laughing We are not worthy!
