GW18- Deadline Friday 21st December 19.00

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Early Doors for the GW!

Let's get on, then. Steve's summed up 17 beautifully and has gone to try his hand at a yule log. I have a mountain of presents to wrap and still to buy and not a clue what I'm doing. I'd make a s**t Santa. Fixtures this time round:

Friday 21 December

Wolves 20:00 Liverpool

Saturday 22 December

Arsenal 12:30 Burnley Burnley need a result, but the Arse haven't had what they want lately either.
Bournemouth 15:00 Brighton Local derby! Draw written all over it.
Chelsea 15:00 Leicester Leicester will win. Chelsea no longer the force they want to be.
Huddersfield 15:00 Southampton zzzzzzzzz
Man City 15:00 Crystal Palace Dammits all over the place. Palace might be sneaky.
Newcastle 15:00 Fulham Mitrovic is on probation
West Ham 15:00 Watford Another zzzzzzzz?
Cardiff 17:30 Man Utd The one to watch, for Solksjaer's old/new first appearances.

Sunday 23 December

Everton 16:00 Spurs Possibly the best of the lot on paper, which means it will be dire.

We are going to be in the middle of the festivities by the time we come out of the other side, so I will wish you all the best food and drink time you can muster. Stay safe, everyone, but sober/healthy/active is unreasonable.
Merry Christmas!

It's just a shame that Utd didn't keep Maureen for a few years longer. Mind you their problems went way beyond the self appointed Special One.

Seems people are picking up on how utter gash Pickford is, poor lad is so over-rated.

The first goal was his stuff up for sure, but Everton's defence just turned into a portal to the back of the net.
Zouma was dreadful.
Cheers.

Yeah Zouma is poor, but Pickford has no command of his penalty area. His positional sense is terrible and his distribution is laughable. It all means his defence has lost trust in him and you see the consequences.

Ok. Quick update here as I’m at the in-laws for festivities. Will add some more things when I get home on Boxing Day.
ManUre are reborn, apparently. Palace are still pinching themselves and Spurs have all the moons in the right alignment.

IGM won a week!

Tables :

Dead Men Walking has the yellow jersey, The big shout out goes to Nevabeen Athletic with 83, and Brain Munich has the crown.

More later... don’t forget the next GW starts on Boxing Day!
