New song was very jolly, crowd were on good form and the sound was actually loud enough to leave my ears ringing which was very welcome. Probably the best of the UK dates I've seen.

Bananacamel, glad you liked it. I seem to remember that you weren't so fond of the last gig, right? Can you give us a lengthy (albeit positive) review again please?

Well, after the Astoria, and airing some gripes about set list, smoke, volume etc. I took on board some of the comments made about the poor venue, (& some about looking at what the set list is likely to be before you get there Embarassed ) and decided that actually being on the balcony at the Astoria was the real problem. I go to sisters gigs to jump around with like minded nutters and try and lose several pounds of sweat, not stand around watching from a distance. Twisted Evil

So down the front I went, and I have to say that I found most things to be as good as I remember from previous gigs. I could see the band, the volume was okay (Letís face it you can always do with more dbís) the crowd were awesome, everyone really getting into the music. Vonís voice seemed fine to me, and the Ben & Chris really rocked. We are not worthy!

From what I remember it was same set list from the Astoria, I donít recall a brand new song, but after Alice I had to have a breather and left the moshers for half an hour or so to cool down (I should learn that itís best to remove leather jacket before exerting yourself in the pit), and they could have slipped something in!!!

I left at 11.00 with a smile on my face, that lasted until I fell asleep at 2.30. My girlfriend, (not a sisters fan, but Iím working on it) had a great time as well. And thatís how it should be.

So Iíve finally made it double figures in the number of times Iíve seen them, and Iím gutted that I canít make it to Bristol on Wednesday, but hey, thereís always the next tour.
Very Happy

thought it was a great gig last night. The "goth disco" downstairs after the gig was amusing to say the least.

Just to update. I don't know what the new song was. Who grabbed the setlist? Set was the same as London, Leeds and Norwich (and Manchester I guess, wasn't there) apart from the new song.

I think Lee (eastmidswhizzkid) grabbed the setlist.

When I went to the bog I saw 4 people storming out moaning that they could recognise any of them Laughing I had a great night, vocals where a bit too quiet in the mix but that's the sound engineers fault.
