Anyone going?
I'd like to do it myself but can't book a ticket - if I lived in the USA, UK, Germany etc, I could but unfortunately my postal address includes a non-existing country. And they ask the address even for Will-Call tickets.

Great show last night! The venue was maybe 60-70% capacity. I haven't seen tsom since the last bout through the states, and the sound is a lot heavier. I chalk it up to the new guitarists. Vocals were mixed badly, but that is not unusual.

When someone posted earlier about a pit starting to Alice, I was skeptical. But the new version rocks hard.

Chris Catalyst plays to the crowd big time. He was the best part of the show, in my humble opinion.

No pics, no audio (forgot to charge MD before the show).

More tomorrow about the Dallas gig.

I so feel like a thief ! This is also from Dominion (Dan) :

"The word's for today no security. No pat down no security fence hands on the stage '85 vibes all around."

Short but informative. No secu, so bring in the recorders !

Absolutely no security. None. Although there were several plainsclothes cops lingering around the pit. One was even wearing a York hoodie.

I can imagine the conversation in the police station "Yeah, those guys are from england right? Whuddya got that says england on it?"

What?

Also, how would you know if they were planinclothes police? Unlees they were talking police business, and then what would be the point in being in plain clothes?

Might fit in better wearing a chicago police jacket and a dodgy vest! :von:

Some venues occasionally hire off duty cops/firefighters to do security.

why does Dominion keep beating Heartland with the setlists?

I'm the dodgy American who took those pictures. ;D

I just wish I'd known that photos would be allowed, as I had a brand-new 7-megapixel Canon PowerShot SD550 with a 512M card in it sitting on my desk back in Houston.

Did the best I could with the cameraphone.

I've also got some spotty low-resolution video (with sound) done with the same camera:

http://www.mrbill.net/som (MPEG-4/AAC or DivX/MP3 with loud, clipping audio)

Enjoy!
