slightly nervous... Yep, I'm there too at the moment. Alongside everything else we do our team has been writing 75 technical manuals (ouch!) for internal use that we were under the impression would only be seen by our own engineers that already have some knowledge of our hardware and software. Now ...

Senna. A totally engrossing documentary though, for obvious reasons, ultimately a tough watch. Some quite extraordinary footage not seen before, especially the in-car Senna race footage. Exhilarating. Lots I'd never twigged before - the Prost/Senna I knew but not so much the extent of the Senna/Bal...

Grabbed a Samsung Galaxy S II this week. Mad how things move on since my last phone was bought 18 months ago. 1.2Ghz dual core, plays pretty much all formats up to full 1080p HD inc HDMI output, takes video up to 1080p @ 30fps, a pretty decent 8M camera and an eye-boggling 4.3'' Super Amoled Plus sc...

The Gaiman episode had a lot of hype and expectation to live up to with the two parties that were concerned but, for me, it didn't disappoint and then some. Thought the performance as Idris/Tardis was absolutely spot on. Mesmerising even. Count me in the "well happy" list for the episode a...

I was just saying elsewhere that she was one of those actresses easy to underestimate due to the nature of the role she was best known for. That everybody just thought of her as SJS was actually a compliment to her ease in the role over the years.

Not so much depressed or pissed off but more rolling my eyes at the irony of it. You know, like this => Here I am all fit & healthy, walking & swimming like a machine, and what happens? Stung by a bee on the leg on Saturday, possibly a female Anthophora plumipes, and suffered a big re...

I was loving my 4.0 experience until I tried to watch video on Vimeo. Epic fail.

Seems to be just that site which is a shame as it's the best site for HD vids avoiding the crap that mounts up on other well known tubes....er.....sites.

Just starting knocking together an old PC to try my third OS in the house on.

It'll be Jolicloud Desktop running on Joli OS via a wi-fi dongle that joins the family this time. Just curious!
